Boston,
MA – The Triple Threat Invitational is proud to announce one of our many signings being that in the form of 6’2”
combo-guard Tony Robertson.
Robertson
who finished his collegiate career at Division I University of Connecticut also competed in the Big East, which is arguably
one of the toughest basketball conferences in all of college hoops. This talented
and athletic guard competed in our first ever exposure camp back in 2004 as he earned national attention as being one the
top players in attendance.
After
having a stellar showing at our event and receiving modest interest from some NBA teams Robertson later signed with Paskolas
de Navojoa in Mexico. Robertson went on to play in Mexico for the 2004-05 season
while averaging 18.4 points/4.5 rebounds/4.0 assist per game. Robertson has continued
his career on the professional level and is currently playing with Indios de San Francisco in the Dominican Republic. Like Robertson Triple Threat Invitational has become a stepping-stone for a number
of players whose goal is to compete on the professional basketball level.
