Boston,
MA – The Triple Threat Invitational is proud to announce one of our many signings being that in the form of 6’11”
center Henry Colter.
Colter
who finished his collegiate career at Division I Coppin State College also of the MEAC.
This well coached center competed in our 2nd Annual exposure camp back in 2005 as he arguably was the best
big man in attendance. Colter was quoted as saying “I don’t know
where I would be without the help of the Triple Threat Staff. They told me before
the camp even started it would be worth it to attend and they were right! I hate
to even think that I almost didn’t make that trip to West Palm Beach, Florida.”
After
having an impressive showing at our event and receiving heavy interest from some European teams Colter later signed with Union
Shops Rastatt in Germany. Colter went on to play in Germany for the 2004-05 season
while dominating his division. Colter has continued his career on the professional
level and is currently playing with CSU Cuadriopol Brasov in Romania. Ironically,
Colter is playing alongside TTI 2006 Alumni Calvin Jenkins as he too was signed during the summer. Like Colter Triple Threat Invitational has become a stepping-stone for a number of players whose goal is
to compete on the professional basketball level.
