Boston,
MA – The Triple Threat Invitational is proud to announce one of our many signings being that in the form of 6’6”
small forward Calvin Jenkins.
Jenkins
who finished his collegiate career at Division II Nova Southeastern University is an extremely athletic and talented forward
who competed in our 2006 exposure camp last summer as he earned a great deal of credibility from pro scouts.
After his exciting performance at our popular event, Jenkins received
a lot of interest from one of our top Germany Scouts – Joseph Burton. Jenkins
extended an invitation form Burton and competed on a tour team in Germany. After
his successful stint in Germany Jenkins was invited to play in the World Basketball Association Showcase in Mexico, in which
he received All-Tournament honors. Jenkins has signed a professional contract
with CSU Cuadriopol Brasov in Romania. Ironically, Jenkins is playing alongside
TTI 2005 Alumni Henry Colter as he too was signed during the summer. Like Jenkins
Triple Threat Invitational has become a stepping-stone for a number of players whose goal is to compete on the professional
basketball level.
