Boston,
MA – The Triple Threat Invitational is proud to announce one of our many signings being that in the form of 6’1”
point guard Steve Hailey.
Hailey
who finished his collegiate career at Division I Boston College University also competed in the ACC, which is arguably one
of the toughest basketball conferences in all of college hoops. This ultra quick
point guard competed in our 2006 camp last summer as he earned national attention as being arguably one the top players in
attendance also earning '06 MVP honors.
After
performing outstanding at our event and leading his camp team to the best record and championship game a lot of teams took
notice including the Orlando Magic – NBA who were in attendance. Hailey
signed an exclusive professional contract with the Cape Cod Frenzy – ABA on September 20, 2006. Hailey has emerged in the 2006-07 season as one of the best young points guards in the ABA and has received
praise for his play around the league. On another note, Hailey has contacted
the Triple Threat Invitational staff and stated he will indeed be attending our 4th Annual Camp this up-coming
summer in hopes of getting more looks from top pro scouts. Like Hailey Triple
Threat Invitational has become a stepping-stone for a number of players whose goal is to compete on the professional basketball
level.
