MA – The Triple Threat Invitational is proud to announce one of our many signings being that in the form of 6’2”
combo guard Ervin “Vony” Rivers.
Rivers
who finished his collegiate career at Division II Francis Marion University is an tremendously skilled and intelligent player
who competed in our 2006 exposure camp last summer as he earned a great deal of credibility from pro scouts. Rivers is the third player from FSU to attend our popular camp.
After an unyielding
show at our popular event, Rivers received some reasonable interest from professional scouts.
After a few invitations and workouts Rivers signed a professional contract with Baltimore Peals of the ABA. Like Rivers Triple Threat Invitational has become a stepping-stone for a number of players whose goal is
to compete on the professional basketball level.
