Boston,
MA – The Triple Threat Invitational is proud to announce one of our many signings being that in the form of 6’4”
shooting guard Derek Hollyfield.
Hollyfield
who finished his collegiate career at Division II Bemidji State University also earned All-Conference (NSIC) honors. This complete guard competed in our 2006 camp last summer as he received a great deal
of interest from professional scouts and agents. On another note, he also joined
our camp alongside three of his college teammates whom had success.
After his participation in our June event, Hollyfield signed a few months later with Sauk Rollers
of the ABA. Hollyfield is enjoying a very productive year with the Rollers and expected to receive even more looks in
the next professional basketball season. Like Hollyfield Triple Threat Invitational has become a stepping-stone for
a number of players whose goal is to compete on the professional basketball level.
